Adam: That'd be nice. What were you thinking? Katy: Maybe we could take the elves for the weekend so he and Mrs. Claus could just relax. Adam: Uhhh... Elves don't like the subrubs... Al the barking dogs hurt their ears.

Yeah, but look at all the toys the kids could have – Adam probably has a little used workshop in the basement or garage – keep the elves happy til Santa and the Mrs get back in town.
