On this particular con—Scancarelli “borrows” from Disney’s villainous Beagle Boys. The guy’s been in so long (since before electric-chair was phased out in favour of needle) that he’s forgotten his name and knows only his number.
I noticed that. I think we still have “the chair” here in Florida. Still, it’s a pretty old way to get a laugh. Has there even BEEN a laugh in GA for a while? I chose not to comment through that last ten-week Slim story. Someone had mentioned the “walk in the woods.” Guess it’s over, huh? Jim should do what he wants to do with the strip….it’s his, after all…. but I think it’s kinda sad.
