There’s no way to eat without killing something. That is, if you believe the plant world is also alive. Better to be grateful for what comes our way – and to eat only what is necessary. Not that I have anything against a vegetarian diet, mind you.
I’m going to go out and hunt some minces to make mincemeat pie.
I didn’t get to the top of the food chain to eat carrots.
