Carmen: Why is Poncho trying to get me to eat more butter? Chazz: He wants to be my sole beneficiary, so he's trying to make you kick off sooner. Carmen: But the trans fat in butter have antioxidant and anticancer properties. I won't die from eating lots of butter. The only thing that'll happen is I might get fat. Carmen: Do you want me to die sooner?

I’ll spend the extra money for real butter.

I haven’t had real butter in years. Don’t plan on it any time soon. Smart Balance is good enough for me.

Wow. I love the strip but hate the science.Butter doesn’t have trans-fats (old margarines did).Trans-fats don’t have any antioxidant or anticancer properties, and cause worse problems than the saturated fats in butter do. Modern margarines don’t have trans-fats and that’s what I use, but I won’t try to convince the butter lovers in this group to switch ;-)
