    And how many commercials did you have to ignore before you could read the strip? I count 6. Remember when you could buy a newspaper for a nickel and the comics were all together on two pages? And the classifieds were a seperate section that you could ignore if you wanted? Ah, yes. There were truly some things that were better in the ‘good all days’.

    Red needs a DVR or a Tivo! I feel his pain, especially when a certain commercial comes on with an annoying tune playing in the background. I turn the volume down or surf during the overlong commercial breaks. :-(

    In the late 1960’s one of my favorite commercials

    was the “Green Giant”(Ho-Ho-Ho) I didn’t know how

    green he was until we got a color set in 1970.
