Ahh, the good ol’ days. My folks bought me one of the early HW models: a purple wedge-shaped car with a bubble canopy. Can’t remember what they called it. Then my brother and I bought tracks and accessories, and the rest is history …. Wished I’d kept those early cars. Might be worth something today.

I used to have a toy car collection that I enjoyed playing with as a kid, and then my mom gave them all away; that made me sad at first, but by that point I was interested in other things, so I accepted the fact and moved on with life.
