This is very similar to a Johnny Weismuller Tazan move: “Tarzan’s Desert Mystery”, in one scene Tazan saves a wild horse from being captured by some bad people and then the horse wants to be friends and Tarzan rides him bareback. But of course Weismuller’s version of Tazan was much different from Edger Rice Burroughs’.

Today’s 3 panels are so lacking of interest and imagination in terms of the story line and the artwork. So un-Tarzan.
