Consequently, female Oparians are physically perfect, while male Oparians are hideous bestial creatures.” One can imagine that the “selective culling” included getting rid of females who took after Daddy, or maybe the males disposing of other males who looked too much like Tarzan. Just because you’re a “hideous bestial creature” doesn’t mean you’re stupid.
