Ransom looks alarmingly like Gil today. Is he handing Miss Alyssa a comic book? A stencil for a tattoo? Either way, that doesn’t look much like Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio.
Ink and pirated DVDs? – this is a rerun of “The Music Man” in Milford. They have trouble I tell you. Trouble in Milford city! They’ll have a pool table next thing.
I cannot believe how the authors are buying into this stereotype that all tattoo parlor owners that serve an underage clientele also sell illegal, pirated DVD’s of 10 year old movies. Just for once, I would like tattoo artists marketing to 16-17 year olds to avoid this unfair accusation.
Good choice by Neal, though, with Titanic. It sells for $77 on Amazon. Cheapest used copy is $20. So if an old movie is going to be pirated, that might be the one.
This comic does villains really well and Ransom is up there with Carl Peake, Hobart and Wildcat. Can’t wait to see how (and why) Gil and Kaz will have occasion to ride him out of Milford on a rail.

Excellent deduction, Marcus. That explains why Alyssa makes a point of saying she’s watched it on cable. This plot gets curiouser all the time.

I’m starting to feel a little slimy reading this storyline. Shoudln’t we be focusing on some outside shooting with the point guards?

Are you sure that’s Titanic? Maybe it’s one of those porno remakes, the title could be “T** and (something)”.

How different Ransom’s life might have been if he’d made the cut on Spike TV’s Master Ink.

Wait’ll she plays that DVD and discover it’s really “Tattanic,” a story about a hot babe on a cruise ship with lots of tats.

I thought the movie had something to do with tithing. That would definitely break the stereotype.
