It’s for certain that eBay is a huge drag to deal with on many levels. I gave it up as my New Year’s resolution.

I made my living on eBay from 1999-2009. It was good at first but has long since jumped the shark. Between ebay’s apparent war on its loyal sellers and the fact that china has taken eBay over, it’s just not worth it anymore. Try to make a living on eBay now and you’ll be lucky to be able to afford a computer.

Considering that most people have a computer before they were laid off, that’s a pretty irresponsible statement to make. Just because you’re not employed at the moment doesn’t mean you suddenly have none of the stuff you bought while employed.

Even the oldest, cheapest, ugliest used computer can connect to the internet. And dialup fees start at about $10 per month. Every American who wants to be on Ebay can be. And reading the comics online is cheaper than buying a daily newspaper.
