Gina will get detention for breaking the rules and so will Nate.

I laughed so hard at this that I’m glad I’m alone in the house tonight.

Yep!! It’s like that not-too-long-ago strip where Nate encounters a “newbie” in detention, telling the kid that “my dad used to get pretty mad too, for the first few dozen times, but by the time I’d hit triple digits, he’d pretty much gone numb”…….Haw!! HAW!!!

They’re BOTH goin’ to detention,,,& that’s all there is to it!!

My school principal looks EXACTLY LIKE Mrs. Godfrey. Want proof? Go to Google Images and type in Melissa Corbin. She’s the very first picture. Isn’t it amazing?

OH NO! Nate should never have opened his mouth. He was home free until he did that. Now it’s detention for both of them.

If Gina gets detention, it’ll be the third time! (counting Big Nate Strikes Again)

Nate reminds me of idiots you see on Judge Judy sometimes. They are winning their case-Judge Judy is slamming their opponent. All they have to do is sit back and keep their mouths shut….and they just can’t do it. They have to butt in until Judge Judy is mad at them too.

They will not get detention, Nate will win the bet, BUT, not really, because Mrs. Godfrey mentioned the no betting rule, so he will not be able to collect. That’s my prediction.

She should give Nate a break because this all resulted in some exemplary behavior from him, something she doesn’t often see. A good teacher encourages that sort of thing, y’know.

LOL Man! Guess this is gonna stretch out another full week! But I like it! Suspense & all that.

My prediction : They may both be going down for making the bet. Right now it looks like Gina’s probably gonna catch it worse than Nate, but that could very well change if he doesn’t shut his mouth & just let Mrs. Godfrey handle Gina! LOL Will he ever learn?
