When I started on the strip, I was drawing all the details, including cables and wires. Andre did lots of background work, while Kyle did very little. So I decided I could hit a happy medium, and use a kind of cartoon shorthand. You see Ed’s computer when it’s needed for the gag. When it isn’t, you don’t. But then, your first guess may be right, it’s just an unoccupied cubicle.
