I used to live in Zaragoza on the American air base. Sad to see how things have crumbled.

Paris has been disinterring its dead to make room for fresh burials since the 17th century.

Nicole – I used to deploy to Zaragoza AB when I was stationed in Germany. We’d bring our planes there twice a year and use the weapons range. I really enjoyed those deployments, even the constant wind on the flight line. 1973 – 1975 was my time frame.

If your familiar with Latin cemeteries you know that if the bill isn’t paid the body is exhumed and dumped in the bone pile in a corner of the cemetery. Cremation is the only way to prevent that……………. All we are is dust in the wind………

That or religiosity. Some think burial’s best because the saved dead will rise again someday. I say God wouldn’t even be slowed by cremation.

I made an omelet with a kiwi egg and served breakfast to everyone at the local Audubon Society meeting.

How can such a huge egg come out of a little kiwi? Poor little thing. Lord help her.

From what I’ve heard, the superbomb had become obsolete. It was needed if you could only be accurate to one mile in targeting, but with computer guidance to a yard or two of the target, why generate all that fall out to come back on you?
