Thats nice. When I came home from hospital all I got from my now ex wife was “Huh, you’re back then”.

Guess that’s why she’s an ex

I know what that feels like. It’s really good. By the way, I always got that reaction from my dogs whether I was gone for just a little while or for hours. If I was gone for a few days there was pandamonium when I returned. Such happiness for them and for me.

Give it two days.

Absence makes ones heart grow fonder.

Coming home from patrol was always a great thing, but there was still the knowledge that I had to leave again.

I’d like to tell Lynn how much I enjoyed the depth in her old strips. I have still have some one them on my refridgerator.

@SUSAN NEWMAN, however you look at it, dogs are just about the best thing that God ever created. How much poorer life would be if there were no dogs! I shudder to think……..

It’s nice being missed when you’re gone, even if it’s only for a little while . . . and coming back home again is all the sweeter.
