@john: cats don’t stink, they keep themselves nicely cleaned, as oppossed to dogs, who really smell bad if their owners don’t give them regular baths. My cat always knows when i’m down and will come for a cuddle, most cats will if you treat them well.

@Gizmo CatDogs stink because of the diet their owners give them, on a decent diet dogs smell like popcorn.

I love it when my cat curls up between me and the back of the chair in front of the computer, and he purrs when I rub him.

Cats were worshiped as gods and have never forgotten this fact.

itś a funny, not an ethics statement or valuation of the uselessness of dogs. all they do is eat/make a mess, crap/make a mess, and get wet in the rain/royally reek. yeesh. enjoy the toon for what it is…and they’re usually upbeat and nice, unlike most posters today.

I ‘fain’ would agree with Peekaboo, but many dogs don’t need to feign it!

Why is Peekaboo a kitten and not a full grown cat?!

I don’t know my dogs are pretty empathetic to the point of sometimes I want them to just leave me alone. ;-)

We love our rescued cat, but if he gets milk products he excretes pure stink. He had a tough life as a young cat, but is now enjoying the life of a gentleman of leisure. He is allowed on one chair, and any laps he’s willing to sit in. He also goes around the house at night, sleeping on various beds to make sure everyone knows he appreciates us.

I was never a cat person until I owned one. People don’t give cats enough credit. They are very smart animals and each and every one has a different personality. Both my cats and dog come running when I get home but the cats want food and the dog wants attention, haha. Of course she wants a treat too but not until she gets her dose of love.

I used to confide in our little cat Carmie. He would smile and purr contentedly. I miss him.

Why does this dame dialogue appear at least daily in the comments of some strip or the other? You’d think I’d have learned to skip it by now.
