You’re going to die with regrets in about two minutes.

Oh, Donna gets it, all right, Pierre. And you’re about to “get it,” too! POW!

Donna’s about to seize his cake pops and wrap them around his ears.

If you’ve got a lick of sense, hit the door when you get that look. Because things are about to get very ugly. By trying to further explain yourself you only make things worse.

Pierre must be an Ayn Rand libertarian – he liberates the cake pops for his own self-interest.

Regrets, I’ve had a few. But then again, too few to mention.

As M. Smokey said, Pierre will very soon regret having taken Donna’s cake pops (what are cake pops?), but if he hadn’t taken them, he’d have regretted that too. A certain amount of regret is unavoidable. A better philosophy than “Je ne regrette rien” is “It is better to regret the things you DID than to regret the things you DIDN’T do.”

JP Steve, ajn90280, thanks. They’re cute, but I agree that I’d rather just stick with the cake. No need to make desserts that complicated, and the mark-up is probably huge.
