My dad was a better cook than my Mom. I would have voted Dad for Mom – if it were a democracy.

This situation wouldn’t have mattered to me too much. My father is almost as good of a cook as my mother. He simply doesn’t have as much experience and his repetoire is only a little less varied. And mom? She’s the best cook I know.

Everyone wants “change”, but no one really thinks about “to what?”

I love the ‘Dad Poll Standings’ strips. Funny the first time, funnier after I was a dad.

It is good that he at least wins the “name recognition” poll.When I grew up, either the milkman or the mailman would have won.

I see beans on toast getting served up

The revolution will NOT be televised…Nor will it be well fed.

Dad had to go to work @5:30am, and every once and a while, he’d cook salmon croquettes for his lunch. He’d stick his head in my bedroom, wake me and say: “Ya want some croquettes?” i’d go, “YEAH !” and we’d bond in the kitchen, before he went to work, and me back to sleep.

I love dad’s slouch in panel two. So telling!

This is so like Syria that it’s creepy.

I like his measure for “high name-recognition factor”.
