The family problems go deeper than we thought, as it appears Mr. Bowen enjoys dressing up and pretending to be Mrs. Bowen.

Throp once again practices armchair psychology. He always finds a way to figure it out and “save the day”. He makes the school psychologist pale by comparison. Must be nice to have the “touch” he has.

My parents never divorced, but if they had, and if I had been in high school, I can’t imagine I would have run to my basketball coach. Why should Gil be among the first to know? It will be fun if it turns out Kaz has known for months. Even more fun if Mrs. Bowen has been fooling around with Wildcat Maris.

Mrs. Bowen works as a loans officer, she has to look that way to discourage potential customers. She likely ‘fixes up’ when she’s off work.

And she probably drinks with that golfer’s mother from last summer’s Gil strip.
