Good evening—and an early Good morning to all you Tarzan fans—By the time I return here in the morning, most of you regulars will be here. I know faithful Katman will find his way, if not and he’s wandering in the jungle—our trusty experienced WW2Marine Vet will look out for him and, using his Marine survival techniques will bring him along—Katman is a tough survivor, even though battling Malaria and other pestiferous maladies encountered in this green hell. Apoi—nice profile of “T” in last panel!

Tarzan will forthwith create the legend behind the Ballad of the Blood Diamonds (even if they are not blood diamonds, strictly speaking).

Happy Sunday tribe mates!Classic Tarzan in the opening panel today, and finally some action coming our way next week. Those militant rebels will take good “care” of that fat land-swindler hopefully, and in turn, Tarzan will eliminate them. Ah-har-har-har……..!

There is a 1990 copyright tag on today’s strip … does that mean that it first appeared in 1990?

Makes me think of The King’s Ankus in Kipling’s The Jungle Book.

Good to see you here today, Nightgaunt49—things have changed a bit in the jungle, since your eventful day in 1957
