These old eyes of mine were a bit confused when they first saw the letters “L”, “I” and “C” close together. I thought for a moment that I was reading a naughty word.
Year of Dragon! The Dragon can do whatever it wants, whenever, to who ever if ever…and the fakers like Rodney are due for…whatever the Dragon chooses. Great year coming up.

When the Comics Code Authority was formed back in the 1950s, one of the first things they did was to ban the word “flick” from the comic books, for just that reason. A few decades later, they un-banned it. Of course, in recent years, the super hero comics no longer have the “Approved by the CCA” logo on the covers anymore, anyway.
This just in….Leakysqueaky reported that as he was leaving the penalty box he notice that the comic artists Parker and Hart had been apprehended and were being brought up before the authorities for using the word “Flick”.

I’m pretty sure I know what Rodney does when dragons attack… and I’m glad his shield will keep us from seeing it.

Comics Code Authority notwithstanding, it’s long been common knowledge among cartoonists that you NEVER use the word “flick.”

I heard that in an old Archie comic strip, they were ready to show a movie, and someone said (turn off) the lights that generated the row.
