mmh, problem with tablets is its a screen – sure you can keep a (limited) amount of books on it, but you get more eye strain in the end.

Got a Kindle for Christmas. I tried… I really tried… but I HATE IT!! Give me a book any day. Like the old man I’m tempted to throw it out too.
I have an iPad and a Kindle, and I love ‘em both. But the Kindle—you *don’t* get more eye strain, because it’s liquid ink rather than a computer-type screen. Go try one out. You might find that it’s not unpleasant.
