    A girl I went to highschool with has become a grandmother at age 40. When I heard about that, it had to sink in for second before I could think of something to say.

    I used to know a 36 year old grandmother. I’m sure there are lots younger than that.

    40 isn’t bad – try 32. we know lady whose child child had a baby the year after she finished high school, the lady was 32. she was 13 when she became a mom..

    can beat that youngest grandmother is 23 had a kid at 12 and that kid had one at 11

    I think singer Loretta Lynn was a grandma at age 32. In some parts of the country, not so unusual.

    No matter our age, we are all still 20 in our minds. As for the young grammas, it truly is sad that the cycle of children having children continues.
