KN:!!
a very controversial subject. It is good that there is a safety net of sorts but, at the same time an over protective social services representative that sometimes has too much power, can misinterpret evidence and unjustly take a child from its home
Reminds me of my youngest son when he was this age (just learning to walk). In 5 months time, he’d had 3 sets of stitches to his head (all caused by falling). The first time, no problem. The 2nd time, the nurses (who didn’t know us as well as our doctor) were acting suspicious, but I don’t think actually reported us. The 3rd time he needed them, he got injured (by falling) in the exam room, in the presence of 2 nurses, plus both parents & older brother. Thankfully, they then realized he really was a klutzy kid, and not abused.

If you’re gonna beat the kids, you have to beat everyone that sees them. It’s a tough world.
