Not soup, but I once forgot I had hard-boiled eggs on the stove; the water was gone and the eggs were burnt.

My wife can change a tire, the furnace filter, do the laundry & control all our accounts. I think it’s what you’re exposed to in life-if you have to survive, you will (or not)!!!Hooray for most women—they feed us (and wash the dishes) & I never met a guy who could have a baby (or want to)!!

A little like the pot calling the kettle black, huh? And now that the pot truly is black…

Ellie is human, like the rest of us. She finds faults in others and then excuses her own faults as an aberration. At least she has the decency to look sheepish about it. :-)

We did this with a pot full of potatoes. The neighborhood was visited by two bull elk, and both of us forgot about the pot while outside watching the elk. The pot and all contents went into the trash.

Elly may not have admitted her part in this whole mess but at least she admitted to Anne that what John did was an accident, so I guess that’s something anyhow. But she really does need to apologize to her husband for getting mad at and blaming him for what happened when she was also partly to blame and all he was trying to do was be a thoughtful, helpful husband.

I’m sure Elly will forgive John, She forgave him for the drinking episode on New Years. The kids need new clothes anyway. Michael’s at the age when kids want something in style.

I’ve never thought it possible to burn soup when it can slosh over the pot as illustrated.

I never burnt soup or eggs but once I wanted to boil a toothbrush (no not to eat, silly! disinfect) and promptly forgot: http://www.flickr.com/photos/hildigunnur/112381/
