I couldn’t disagree more. Food is only good when you’ve got a good cook cooking it. I’ve lost my appetite more often than I care to remember from bad cooking.
I can’t think of anything more gross than that, with the exception of maybe a pile of puke.
BC13, maybe it is just my background. I grew up in a big family, and we ate what we could get, which in turn, has made me the easiest person in the world to cook for.

^I guess it all depends on whether you’re used to eating or not. My guess is, most anything will look good if you aren’t used to having enough.
