Better to be bored than to be fretting over how you’re going to pay your rent and wondering if you’re going to have to move back in with mommy dearest (who in Lila’s case is a real monster!) so I’m with the “you’re lucky to have a job” group.
If you have to find a home for that fluffy white cat Lila, I’ll take her. Macushla could stand some competition.
i’ve been thinking about the nature of luck and jobs – was it good or bad luck to be in a high stress, low-paying job? was it good luck or bad luck to be laid off from that job? i don’t have a definitive answer: i’m happier without the job, and probably better off in the long run but right now those things compete with the financial struggle.
