I was infantry and arty among other things. Yes, have hearing loss, but it’s genetic. Otosclerosis. Mom had it. Got some tin in one ear. Someone was asking why Duster wasn’t yelling. Now we know. By the way, I refer to the AO as “the sandtrap”, not box. We aren’t playing over there.

Potrzebie - you need a stapedectomy for the otosclerosis. Ask your ENT about this. I can now hear without my hearing aids.

Hence the piece of tin in my ear. Didn’t cure it all the way. I now have “diver’s ear”.
