Frank says, "Go ahead and eat it, Ernie--- the 5-second rule doesn't apply in zero gravity!"
Well, there is a floor up there, it’s just that nothing touches it much.
The floor is falling at the same rate everything else is falling. Just enough combined with the forward velocity to make it travel in a circle around the earth.
Of course, there’s zero calories in the donuts, too. No matter how many you eat, you’re still weightless. What a concept.
once you take that first bite, all the calories will float away in zero gravity
That’s good news… unless the doughnut floats to a wall or the ceiling. Is there a “five-second rule” there?
