Early morning greetings to all East Coat readers. And late night greetings to all West Coast readers.-——-Daddy Warbucks to the rescue. -——-Have a prosperous day my friends.
SAM’S SCHOOL for SUPERVILLAINSBayonne, NJLesson #12: Those Who Forget the Past…Our case study’s victory in relieving the singing cowboy brothers of sponsors for their radio show – hoping that it would force them to sell the ranch property – was all too brief, thanks in large part to heavy-handedness in dealing with outsiders… such as the kid. Now, not only does he have the brothers AND the kid against him, but the kid’s “Daddy” is undoing all of the work of the henchmen of our aspiring antagonist. And, if that wasn’t bad enough, it turns out that “Daddy” has background knowledge of the ranch and its history – bringing one more force against our case study, that of nostalgia. In the research that our budding bad guy must surely have done on the land mass he is trying to procure for himself, he must have known there was one little section that had some nostalgic or possibly historical value. The best thing to do in cases like this is to work the “good neighbor” angle in your negotiations, promising to maintain the place AND the radio show in an effort to distract from your real operations. As thins stand now, the best our case study can hope for is to quietly withdraw, make do with what he already has under his control, and hope the attention on his operations goes away quietly. (With the resources of Warbucks Worldwide, that’s somewhat doubtful…)

Morning, Anniephans!
Love that dialog – “Whut?”…“Wal, I’ll be!”
Here’s the link to the 2006 Annie story, “What Bugs You.”
