Ol boy actually thinks that helicopter is a spaceship.

SOMEONE was watching “Close Encounters…”
does look a little like that ship; not to mention the fact that the butte he is on reminds one of Devil’s Tower
It IS the “Close Encounters” mother ship, or almost like it, along with the little flitters flying about, atop the “Devil’s Tower”-like mesa—just like the movie.
Yep, someone’s been watching too many movies, and gone off the deep end.
In Vail’s case, he just might…literally.
Addendum: Now, it would be REALLY creepy if everybody starts hearing the “Close Encounter” alien melody.
Are we sure that “Close Encounters” predated this comic? Could it be the other way around?
Maybe the ship is really there but only Anson can see it.
