Is not that Popeye’s old enemy Bluto in the back row?

Anyway, it is a paid class to get free munchies and time from the desk, use it wisely. (and quietly and take long lunch breaks)

I’d hire Kelsey Grammer for an anger management class…….him or Gene Hackman

Anger management managed to make me angry.

Oddly, there was a lot of stuff about Bluto on my Facebook wall in the last couple of days. This strip was already drawn and delivered before then. And I get a lot of ‘Like’ requests for Frasier. I already like it.

And with all those cast members to color, I forgot to color Jay’s stubbly hair. No, that’s not it. It’s the light in the breakout room, that’s what it is.

That’s okay. We can forgive anything, so long as Rita stays drawn so she can hold up that top without needing straps. It’s her only good quality.

In Kyle’s day, she wore a necktie for a while.

Nah. There’s something appealing about Rita’s total lack of consciousness that she’s a pain. In the other rendition, she knows she’s evil and loves it. In the strip, what makes it frustrating and therefore funny is that there’s not a hope she’ll ever change or even think there’s a reason to change.

This is true . . . “I’m right, you’re wrong, and don’t confuse me with the facts.” Reminds me of Fred Flintstone, another good possible candidate for an anger management class.

When my comic Patty-Cake was being optioned for possible animation, the assigned writers were doing that kind of thing. The school Bully, Longo, built a device called “Bully In a Box,” with a boxing glove that popped out to hit people. I said not to have him promote himself as ’The Bully," and change the name of his device to “A Surprise For Your Eyes.” They did. But it never went as far as becoming a show.

Why is “Stormin’ Norman” there? For the refreshments?I’m surprised Wolverine is not there. Then again…

That’s an interior window, looking at a corridor deep in the building. That’s a little visual clue that the workers are trapped in a meeting. Rita has stopped having them in rooms with distractions- like windows with views.

Only if the point of the seminar is to teach them all how.

I think Gman means the character as drawn by the other cartoonist aren’t paper friendly…

Yes, the “not real newspaper/family friendly” art I was referring to was Rita and Dana as rendered by “Huggy-Lugnuts” in the link Scott posted – very appealing, but a little, shall we say, racy looking – though quite recognizable interpretations. Maybe if Working Daze were only online, or exclusive to FHM or other men’s mag. But I’m already a daily reader, so no need for my benefit – lol
