Lio's NEWS Delivery Service
Leave it to Lio! (Much better than ‘Leave it to Beaver’.)
I coulda used one of those when I was a kid!
It’s a newspaper of high caliber.
Mr. Hearst would be so proud…
Target practice! Los Angeles Crimes Delivery!
Lio’s rapid-fire news delivery-cannon probably needs a more stable base for accuracy, but it certainly looks like it makes fun of a tedious task!
Detroit Daily Cannon.
three head shots…is that a hat trick?
neighborhood delivery. without leaving his own front yard. smart kid. : )
Can’t get tips that way.
Shades of Alvin Fernald! Except even Alvin couldn’t deliver from a quarter mile away. :)
News-zooka
A Pulitzer howitzer?
Baslim is right. the movie was on Disney and the Kid was a genius and had a homemade ‘Bazooka’ mounted to his bike.
And causes his own scrapes!
He couldn’t deliver The Washington Post with that thing. These days that paper is so small and light it would be like trying to shoot a feather out of that cannon.
Lio’s delivery service is very dangerous!
Lio must deliver my paper. It is everwhere but the porch or the driveway.
LOL ! … I love panels 2 & 3 …right in face!
Alvin Fernauld.
New paperboy done broke my sternum.
I was wondering who’s been rifling through my paper.
Anybody remember “Paperboy 2000” TV show with Chris Elliott?
Besides, I don’t remember Chris Elliott’s character using a howitzer to delivery the mail.
i remember that Disney movie.. it was that red head kid from “Sigmond and the seamonsters” johnny somebody….holy crap i’m old
After reading “Lio” for a long time, i just realized something.
I wonder why this comic isn’t in color, as opposed to most others on GoComics … ?
Gives new meaning to the phrase, “Hard News”.
