What’s a little cracked-up concrete in the scheme of things, when Red and Rover share such love?

As the bus draws near, whose anticipation is the greater, Red’s or Rover’s? No matter. They are both overjoyed and filled with fun.

I remember those days and my Blackie who waited for me at the end of our long driveway home.

Look in panel 1 and you’ll see that the sidewalk is already pre-cracked from years of waiting for the bus.

This is exactly why I come here every day. I grew up then and know exactly how they feel. Their obvious devotion to each other is so touching that if it doesnt warm your heart, you probably dont have one. .Mr. B, thank you for touching so many of us through your wonderful point of view. .(and btw, what is Superman up to now?!? … lol … I just had to ask didnt I?)

A dog’s wagging tail is a force to reckon with.
