Am I alone in thinking that gold (especially in quantity) looks tacky? And as for gold fillings……..

You are not alone aarken. Long ago (60s) a friend started dental school, and was told to avoid gold on the front eight teeth.

In this economy they could have it taken out and re-done – get some money for it!

Plugger’s rarely get gold teeth anymore, not only expensive but because most, if not all, dentist’s are using non-precious metal to keep the cost down. And that is okay, they understand expensive because the dentist is not a real doctor anyway, just another plugger.

Does this mean that pluggers have such good teeth that they have not had a cavity in forty years, use enamel fillings now or have a full set of dentures?

@GretchensMomThat is because that is the amount the insurance/dental plans will pay/allow….
