Gracie: I got two tests back today. Gracie: Obviously, I have a new favorite teacher. Nora: The one who gave you the 100? Gracie: The one who gave me a C-! Gracie: There's much to learn from that one.
I still have more respect for the B I got from one of my professors than for any of the A’s I got from another. But she was there to teach, and he to research and publish. Professionally, I have the following quote from Marshall Field with the feedback link on my intranet page: “Those who enter to buy, support me. Those who come to flatter me, please me. Those who complain, teach me how I may please others so more will come. Only those hurt me who are displeased but do not complain. They refuse me permission to correct my errors and improve service.”
