Yet if any guy rolled his eyes like that he would be the dog house for weeks.

I think she’s a little confused about who’s changing and who is conforming. So does Elly from the expression.

Sad…@Agent54 – not true. You may have had that experience, but it’s not typical.

Why marriages fail:Women expect men to change. Men expect women to stay the same. Neither happens.

In reality, anybody rolling eyes would get in trouble, but sometimes when people are as excited as Connie, they don’t notice Anything that’s around them.

Obviously, Connie is condensing what would be said over days in many different ways, but a lot of people “say” this at the beginning of a relationship. If only we listened to our friends, when they tell us we’re changing in ways that aren’t healthy!

Proof positive that people have a huge problem communicating, and paying attention. Too bad, but you make your own bed…so don’t complain when you are forced to lie in it.

Well Ellie always has an excuse to go out to take care of a sick friend. Connie will always qualify.

As George Santayana (December 16, 1863, Madrid – September 26, 1952, Rome), a philosopher, essayist, poet, and novelist once said . . . “Those who cannot remember the past, are condemned to repeat it.”
