Thirty percent more of something you don’t want, is never a bargain

Oh I recently did just that with cat food. Good price, a real bargain. Cats wouldn’t touch it and kept on mewing and complaining until I went back to town the next day and got them what they wanted. Took the “new” super bargain cat food down to the river and opened the cans and left dinner for the raccoons. Now THEY seemed to enjoy it so it went to a good use. I learned to buy what the cats like, and not look at the price I like.

On the tin she opened—the cost is sunk, Fred.

:D We had registered Saint Bernards that my Mom showed when I was in high school. It went rather different for us. Mom would get the big knuckle bones for the dogs, boil them and make ground beef and rice with the stock. Then because it was easier, she would feed the show dogs (house dogs) the ground beef and rice before we had it for dinner. It didn’t bother me but sister wouldn’t eat it…

I would buy whatever the baby would eat. Its how I treat my rescue babies. 3 yr old Basset named George and a Terrier mix named Mr Peebles. Both are adorable – if you dont have a fur baby, please visit a shelter and take home instant devotion!!

My Barney would be thinking the same thing if I tried to change his food after 12 years.
