Perhaps they’re in a world where the moon revolves the other way around the earth, and test patterns are still popular. Hint: the last quarter moon, aimed like that, can only happen during the day.
Test pattern? What kind of cheap tv station was he watching? A PBS station maybe. My husband likes to use the tv as a talking night light, keeping it on a certain #1 cable news network, unless he’s taping something. I tried to turn it off one night and he reacted almost like Morris did. Since then I know to leave it and him alone. I sleep where there is no tv on.
