I’m glad it runs like this. Creators has the current strip, gocomics has a repeat, and another website ran yet another older version, but I think they are now up to date there.
“Noooo-body exPECts the Real Bug costume!” -Monty P?Well, if Buggy has gained an awesome reputation for ridiculous bugginess over the years, it’s a good thing he finally appears as an over-the-top creature. Anything less would have been a let-down.
Now, we’ll got back to what Commenters were wondering a few years ago … is he going to turn out eventually (say, at age 17, perhaps) to be exactly the sort of firecracker who could be the perfect complement to Ruthie?
You never know in what ways people will grow up and in what ways they won’t – especially two such characters. But if I were a betting man, I’d bet a nickel on a wedding.
We’ll probably never know, though. OBH is a strip where no one ever ages at all. My nickel is safe.

Even the mom hate him.

This is the first time I’ve ever seen Buggy C. in the strip! Usually, he is only mentioned by name.

If I had ever called one of my friends moms something along those lines, I would have been sitting comfortably again in about…oh 3 days or so!

He’s actually a bug!

I just had a flash of Eddie from Leave it to Beaver and his smartalec attitude with 3 little words. “Hello Mrs. Beaver”

I think this is the only time we ever saw Buggy Crispino. And his face is hidden by the goggles.

Go get Rose. Rose would shut this kid down in a mayfly minute.

This proves the Comics.com version of OBH lags at least a year behind the one at Creators.com — I saw this strip over there long ago.

He’s going to be a nightmare as a teenager.

Does this mean Buggy has a rhyming schtick something like Wiz in Alley Oop?

Yes, it’s Eddie Haskell dressed up as a pesky bug. This should be a good one!

If Buggy thinks Ellen is a Hottie, he should visit Blondie Bumstead, Aunt Fritzi Ritz or Nancy Degroot!

As others have said, I’m fairly sure this is the only time we’ve ever seen Buggy. And a classic appearance it is.
