I feel the same way about millet, Andy.

Or get a bag of sago. Frog spawn we called it when it was dished up at school dinners. I think sago and couscous are pretty much the same thing.

I like couscous (which turns out differently to sago). Tapioca is another favourite. Try tapioca (as a dessert) with a little pinch of salt, which is the way my Thai friends make it.

Given that Andy lives in England, he should by now be familiar with various forms of upma and bhath (even if he doesn’t really like them).

For affisionado, a list of substitutions for cream-of-wheat in typical upma/bhath:

grits (coarse hominy corn, popular in Deep South region of US)powa (flattened rice)cassava beadscouscous (I made some recently)

I prefer lasagna sized pasta
