( unrelated to this strip) You know what i found kind of weird?Gina isn’t in Big Nate Goes For Broke. In fact, she isn’t even mentioned! It’s kind of odd.

Not sure how old you are, Rory, but if you want to hear what “Rowr” sounds like, check out some old Bob Hope movies. That was his catchphrase whenever he saw a pretty girl, particularly Dorothy Lamour.

This kid can handle a visit to “V.S.”, & have a “rowr” moment when the guys built that treehouse a few summers back & realized it gave them an unobstructed, birds-eye view of a comely neighbor-lady. But Nate would’ve been a fish out of water if he’d actually had to handle getting Ellen “Me-so-sassy” underwear last Christmas. Chuckle! CHUCKLE!!!!
