Hmm. We get some more information on Blackjack and his use of his firearm, as identified convincingly by Tarry, a Colt Woodman .22LR; probably a Match Target model like no. 3-21 at the link—a collectible classic befitting a marksman (even if he’s a looney one).
‘Cool Boy’ Sam … the ASH . . .still, on his cigarette. That’s where experience pays off, knowing how to roll with the punches, or say to severe BUMPS on the shoulder of his cigarrete holding hand. Real class ! The sort of panache a friend of mine in another place would do well to emulate.
But you have wonder if Sam’s " senses " are now ‘ALERTED’ (?)Look at the slant of those eyes, what the hecks the man’s looking at with so much attention ?
I have been a “Tracy” fan for many years and I am very pleased with the new writing and art, however; I am bothered by Sam always looking like he is on fire. I don’t care if people smoke, but society has become so opposed to smoking that about the only place you can do it is out doors. Therefore the fact that Sam smokes constantly regardless of where he is and no one complains takes away from the idea that the stories take place in modern times. I don’t want to make a big deal about this; it just seems a little weird—-)
@Stagger LeeYes, the gun is a tool. But, it has to be accurate in order for a marksman to use it to its potential. Even Richard Petty would not win a NASCAR race in a Pinto. Got to have both the skill AND the equipment.
Thanks all, for your comments yesterday. This was supposed to have been posted back when Tarry Plaguer celebrated his birthday. Why it was not done I cannot say. Hope you do not mind its being posted now.His Birthday having now passed on byHe hangs his head and begins to cryWhat is the cause of this great downfall? Why, the postings on his facebook wallOur tarry little lad is another year olderI wonder if it has made him any less bolder?Does he lament for his wastrel youthNow that he grows, so long in the tooth?“Oh, to be a spry youngster, all of forty eight againWith a bleep-eating grin he said “Allow me to explain.”“That night in Bangkok, that week in the LevantThe weekend I spent with Eunice, your then maiden aunt.”“Bear hunting with a switch, sans any clothesAnd those tawny twins, with their magical toes.”“That trek across the Alps, rafting down the ZambeziRunning along the Great Wall (that left me wheezy).”“Pilfering Fort Knox with its bars so goldenHaving a good lawyer to which I’m beholden.”“Kissing the Queen and goosing her mumThe palace guard throwing me out on my bum.”“So many memories of which I cannot tell Most of which would land me in jail.”

I’ll add my vote to those who feel she’s being too familiar with Sam, and very unprofessional. I hope that there is a good reason for her behavior.

Good morning all…
From the way Sam looks, I think he could care less.

Artist Joe is really a subtle one !

Joe Staton is one awsome artist. Fritz Ann is NOT hot, but very pretty. How do you explain that? Can’t wait to see this one last segment!

I like how Sam’s reactions to the “attention” have developed over the strips. First he seem surprised, then curious, and now annoyed.

Strangely enough, I was just watching some old episodes of the Lone Ranger.
