Apartment 3-G – He’s catching on.Funky Winkerbean – Gonna be hard to hit that fuzzy target.Judge Parker – You’ve heard of a pistol packing mama, this is an M-16 packing mama!Mandrake – Anybody have an idea what Gironda means?Mark Trail – It looks like Butch has forgotten about the jacket.Mary Worth – It’s not so much what she wants and why she wants it, it’s how she wants to get it.Phantom – Boy, is he in for a surprise!Rex Morgan – @Arye, good observation.
Funky Winkerbean – can Summer make the shot in the fuzzy basket?Phantom – looks like Phantom has the drop on this Tiger. How will he defend himself against the sword?Mandrake – maybe Gironda is their destination. Apartment 3-G – sorry Rick. Just friends who care about eachother.HAPPY BIRTHDAY Arye! Florida sounds nice. 70 degrees here yesterday, high in the low 40’s today
REX MORGAN: That’s the problem in living with an estrangement…one day it may be too late.MARK TRAIL: Looks like Writer Guy brought his photographer along. I still think the two stories will converge again (dog & robbers).JUDGE PARKER: So if April is the target, who hired the female assassin? Doesn’t her Saudi Suitor have other wives (a harem)? …do ya think?
Judge Parker – When, and why did they decide April is the target?Rex – Iris feels hurt by Foster’s inattention, but is there a reason why? While Mildred was livign, she might have discouraged any contact – it’s called parental alienation.Mary Worth – Some people get bitter, some get better. It all depends on attitude.A3G – Two jobs and a boyfriend? Definetely not enough time.Funky – What happens if Summer faints? Could someone else shoot for her? Time for a time-out.Crankshaft – Inside every old person is a child dancing.
Funky – the fuzzy image of the basket looks much better online than it does in my newspaper.JUDGE PARKER – I like Florchi’s suspicion@marvee – I’m in St. Charles, MO near St. Louis. I’ve never cared for this saying but hear it often concerning the weather here: “if you don’t like it, stick around until tomorrow.” My grandmother and great-grandparents lived in Topeka.
@FLORCHI: Thanks for your birthday wishes. I’ve always dreaded TriRail because it’s 2 buses from my home to the Golden Glades Station and I often have to wait a long time for each bus. But on Tues. a friend of mine drove me to the TriRail, and since she was going to Hollywood (FL) anyway and couldn’t find Golden Glades (which I call a concentration camp with all of its wired overpasses) she let me off at the Hollywood station, which is much nicer.
Unfortunately, the senior TrirRail exemption is no longer easily availlable.
The ride home was nice. I only had to wait for the No. 77 bus for 5 minutes and at 125th St and NW 7th Av (by the last Royal Hamburger stand) the G bus came 10 minutes later and brought me right to my home.
The TriRail itself had comfortable seats and was not crowded at all, but the scenery was by no means awesome.
@ Teh, I’ve always heard that about Kansas and other surrounding states. It wasn’t true for Arizona where we use to go to for the winter. We laughed about the weather “news” on TV because it was mostly the same. Maybe 1 rain during the year, sometimes the wind was worse than usual, and there was an occasional panic about the possibility of an overnight freeze.

@TEH: Good morning. My Facebook name is my actual name: Arye Barkai. I’d be very happy if you or anyone else in our group would friend me.
I returned by TriRail from Palm beach County after celebrating with my 2 sisters. Today is my actual birthday.

MARY WORTH: Is Nola more interested in proving herself to the people who ridiculed her or gaining riches and power for herself?
APT 3G: Tommie just lost an opportunity for a romance.
REX MORGAN: Iris seems to feel more deprived of her deceased father’s love rather than hatred for him.
