I have been to the Dole pineapple plantation/maze on O‘ahu Island, Hawaii. Never occurred to me on Ziggy’s pineapple philosophy until now.

Even traveling steerage

It doesn’t depress me as far as being a world traveller; it depresses me because it’s such a waste of fuel, etc to get a bag of grapes to my grocery store from halfway around the world. I refuse to buy the stuff. If it is normally grown in the US (i.e. grapes, berries, etc) during the normal growing season, I’ll wait for the right time of year. Buying blueberries from Chile in December isn’t right (and they don’t taste good at all).

Yeah, but it left Hawaii and came to a supermarket. Not exactly a dream vacation.

Sad but true!

I like to fly wherever I go….

Hey, look at me! I can tell whenever something is a waste of resources and act all superior about it. (If the shoe fits, yeah, I mean you.)

At what price for pineapple producer countries? Pineapple poisons the earth… all the earth…

Well, Zig, if you could get another 9999 people to travel on the same vehicle, doing the same route with you, I’d bet you’d get a good price too.

They say that song writers write songs about their life. I wonder if cartoonist draw cartoons about their life.

Is that going to stop you from buying the pineapple Ziggy? You should be very delighted that you have a choice. Instead you feel depressed because YOU can’t afford to travel that far.
