Nancy: Aunt Fritzi won't let me dig for the prize---She says,"Just pour your cereal and when you can SEE the prize--- You can HAVE it". AUNT FRITZI--- I CAN SEE THE PRIZE.
you know…i may have not been the sharpest pin in the cushion, but when i was a kid, i realized the prize is always at the bottom of the box of cereal…soooo….i opened the cereal from the bottom of the box…….of course, the box would never be able to close…but like i told ya..i wasn’t the sharpest pin in the cushion…..
My kids would tilt the cereal box over and fish out the prize. Cheerios used to put Hot Wheel cars in the boxes. On some cereal boxes, there was a little form on the side to fill out for a free Golden story book or Hot Wheel.

The coolest toy I’ve gotten from a cereal box lately was a mini plush toy of Mike from Monster’s Inc.

We never got to eat cold cereal! We had to get ours from the farm. Ham, Bacon, Eggs, Grits, Oatmeal, Potatoe skins etc.

Cheerios doesn’t bury them in the cereal any more. They put them on the outside of the bag or right on top. Took all the fun out of it.
