I’ve noticed it in a few recent strips, but today Mell didn’t handletter the captions. Makes me realize that they add a certain warmth that’s not in this particular font. Of course, there may be health reasons that hand lettering becomes too difficult : ( But I can’t say with authority, so it’s just conjecture.

Is that a private range or a public golf course? Is this where his mother’s money is going?
