Brewster’s thumb won last week, why can’t it win this week?

Yesterday I surmised that thumb thing might be up for Brewster. Indeed, it is…. but alas, he seems to suck at it.

I don’t even want to know where, or how his thumb was distracting him……I bet his thumb could grab that donut, though. Sorry, I’m hungry….Mmmmmmm…donuts…..

I think the Pink Thing is a Balloon Person

It’s a Balloon person, NOT a hotdog!

I count thirteen competitors. Someone will get a bye in the first round.

It needs to be pointed out that in a battle of wits, Brewster is only half armed. Maybe the Alien Overlord can work out some sort of handicapping system.

I’m pretty sure that previous BR strips identified that type as balloon people.

perhaps it’s a hotdog skin that’s been blown up like a baloon. Or one of the people from the prophylactic planet.

Balloon person. You can see his body through his arm….And I too remember the balloon people. Were there ever hot dog people?

A zombie with wits? That’s news to me….

No – it’s a balloon – if you look closely at the drawing you can see the artist tried to make the character look semi-transparent by showing the “body-line” through the “arm-line.” And if he kills off Brewster then he’ll have to change the name of the strip!

“Survivor” + “The Hunger Games” = The Survivor Games. Nice tip o’ the hat to both. I wonder if this arc will wrap up (or continue) on Friday,when “The Hunger Games” opens.
