i like birds, so cats are not my favorite. (its not their fault. its hard wired into their brain.) but cats like me. other peoples cats always end up in my lap…

This has always been my favorite Kliban cat cartoon.

And, aren’t they?

We do have one other purpose – petting.

Kliban’s cats resemble actual cats far more closely than do creatures such as Garfield.

this is a copy of another Kliban cartoon except the person who didn’t see the other cats was a woman and the ‘unseen cat’ was doing a tap dance with a straw hat and a cane.

I liked the other version better.
