Yet one more reason NOT to go paperless- no proof to fall back on when the “paperless” bank loses their paperless records. Sure, you can print out and save your “paperless” statements, on paper you bought and paid for. The banks buy a lot more paper than you do, and get it a lot cheaper. Why should YOU pay to have a record of your banking transactions? Same with Autopay on various accounts. Send me a bill, thank you, and I’ll pay promptly with on-line bill pay or a check. Keep your fingers out of my account. I want to know who, when, and how much I pay before, not after, it comes out of my account. Call me old-school or old-fashioned; that/s how I roll. Live with it.

Sorry to hear of your bad past experience. I personally have both a desktop and a laptop computer, both of which can access the archives.
