My dad always did the laundry. I didn’t learn until I was in the army. The same techniques I used there do not translate to my wife’s clothing. No matter how hard I try, I manage to destroy an item that she likes every time. Now she’s angry I won’t touch the laundry.

I can wash & dry, but can’t iron – I’m 41 & pay my mom to iron my clothes.
